1. Octopuses are the smartest invertebrates in the world. They have a large brain-to-body mass ratio and have been shown to be capable of complex problem-solving, learning, and memory. For example, octopuses can learn to navigate mazes, open childproof bottles, and even play games with humans.
2. Octopuses have three hearts. One heart pumps blood to the body, while the other two hearts pump blood to the gills. This allows octopuses to swim and breathe at the same time.
