Other measures included establishing a foreign tax bureau to impose tariffs on imports, recognizing only two genders, renaming the “Gulf of Mexico” to “American Gulf,” expanding US territory, and sending astronauts to Mars.

These policy announcements could benefit various industries like new energy vehicles, oil, gas, coal, and more. The tariffs aim to create a new foreign trade system and address inflation, potentially boosting economic growth and the stock market.

As third-quarter earnings season picks up, we can expect a wide range of trading with specific stock and sector volatility. Asian stocks and US stock index futures rose after President Trump refrained from imposing broad trade tariffs on his first day in office. Consequently, the Nifty50 index might break through the 23,350-23,400 mark today, potentially leading to a significant short-term rally in the domestic market. This aligns with my earlier predictions, as the market had been fluctuating within a narrow range (23,150-23,350) but is expected to rise sharply now that Trump’s policies are becoming clearer.
